I'm a Nerd

I know that's a shock to all of you, but I just had to say it. You know how I know? I was over at my parents' house this weekend, and I was looking for a plate. They had moved them. I said, out loud, "Where the frak are the gorram plates?" I actually swore in the language of two science fiction TV shows. In the same sentence.

What could have made it worse is if I said "Where the frak are the gorram ngop?"

Good News Everyone!

Futurama is coming back! Comedy Central has ordered 26 new episodes to be shown over two seasons, starting in mid-2010. It will have been seven years since Futurama was on the air.

Hooray!

So today I ran across Esquire Magazine's 5 Most Terrifying Local TV Commercials. While I encourage you to check them all out, as they are all truly horrific, this one from Norton Furniture is my favorite. It is the most disturbing, nonsensical, and bizarre commercial I think I've ever seen. Enjoy.
