Useless History Trivia: Inauguration Edition

Question: On Tuesday, Barack Obama will become the ___st/nd/rd/th person to hold the position of President of the United States.

Looking for a number.

Answer will be posted Saturday.

  1. 44th seems too easy, so I'm going to go with 60th to include the presidents before George Washington, of which I think there were 16. But I don't remember for sure.

    CAPTCHA: tramp

  2. Clarification: I am only referring to Presidents after the adoption of the Constitution. No Presidents before Washington are counted. Should have made that a bit more clear. Sorry.

Captcha: cantica. No idea what it means, it just sounds cool.

  3. Cantica

I don't know. 43rd or 45th. Or maybe you're just being sneaky and it really is 44th.

I feel like I'm on QI. I keep waiting for the buzzer to go off.

CAPTCHA: rerpsych (a lot of good ones today!)

  4. 43rd, right? Grover Cleavland was 22nd AND 24th, so McKinley was the 25th president (but the 24th person to hold the position of president), and so on since then.

    Captcha: pootlity
