The Dude Abides

Today at the archives I was processing Adams County criminal case files, and I came across a great name:

Dude Glacken.

Here is the conversation between my friend Lee and I after I showed him the name.

Lee: Call me The Dude. Or The Dudester.

Me: Or El Duderino if you're not into the whole brevity thing.

By the way, he was charged with "Permitting livestock to run at-large." Just like the Seattle Seven (and six other guys), as well as the author of the Original Port Huron Statement, not the compromised second draft, would do.
